How much does it cost to play?
Most players spend between $39–$79 per person depending on the package, length of play, and how much paint you shoot. Our Starter Session begins at $39 per player and includes rental gear and 200 paintballs. For larger groups or custom events, submit a quick quote and we’ll send transparent pricing.
Is paintball safe?
When played with proper gear and rules, paintball is very safe. All games at Matt’s Paintball LA include full-face masks, mandatory safety briefings, and on-field referees. We enforce strict mask-on rules and field boundaries to keep the action fun and controlled.
What are the age limits?
Our standard games are typically recommended for ages 10 and up, with a parent or guardian signing the waiver for minors. For younger players or mixed-age groups, contact us and we can advise on the best format and gear options.
Do we need our own gear?
No. All of our packages include rental markers (paintball guns) and masks. If you have your own equipment, let us know when booking so we can confirm field rules and paint requirements.
What should we wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on—long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Many groups wear dark colors or layers. We also suggest bringing water and a change of clothes for the ride home.
How far in advance should we book?
Weekends and peak times can fill up fast, especially for large groups. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance for parties and corporate events. Last-minute? Submit a form or call us and we’ll do our best to fit you in.
